Aston Kaanapali Shores

Message: Aston Kaanapali Shores was an incredible hotel! Our room was very nice, with a slight view of the ocean even though we didn't purchase an ocean suite, a picturesque balcony, comfy beds, and everything you need for a comfortable stay! The staff also were spectacular, kind, and friendly, particularly Elizha at the front desk who was extremely helpful. However, the resort was probably the best of all, with a garden pool that is fun and perfect for kids, and a swimming pool that was relaxing and by the beach. Definitely check out Kaanapali Shores if you want a practically perfect stay in Maui.

Message: Nice location in Kaanapali. Plenty of outside and covered parking, suites are sized well, there's a garden and 2 pools, and the beach right behind you. Small boutique stores w/in the lobby, and lots of activities for kids and adults. Near an ABC store and a food truck lot next door w/many options, or food options across the street. Housekeeping isn't done daily, so ask to confirm which day your room is scheduled. Overall, good stay.

Message: Really enjoyed staying here with the family. Great location next to a nice beach. Pools and hot tub were nice and clean. Poolside restaurant was also handy. Food trucks next door with a grocery store across the street was nice. Rooms were a bit small but ok. Definitely a nice spot for families.

Message: Very nice, our room is very dated. The refrigerator is a joke. The door is from a different Refrigerator so the whole top of door is exposed. I can look right in when the door is closed. This leaves everything in the refrigerator wet. Sliding doors t the balcony and closet ares just scraping metal. We were in another room that was far superior. TV in the living room is smaller than my computer monitor at home. Paying an outrageous premium deserves better quality. Service people are very friendly, polite, and smiling. Very nice. Pools are very nice. Beaches on this part of the island are ok, South Maui beaches are more sand and less stones and rocks. You can enter the ocean without needing water shoes. Would I stay here again. I don't think so. Friends are staying in condos next door for a fraction of the cost.

Message: The location is great, the two pools are different from each other and quite nice. The beach is good. The rooms are condos and that lets you cook for yourself if you like. The clothes washer and dryer were new. The entry door didn't work very well but maintenance was quick, friendly and good to repair it.

Message: Every room has a good view, full kitchen, washer and dryer in room. Pool for kids and another mostly for adults. Great entertainment three nights per week. Peaceful, safe very enjoyable.

Message: A wonderful place to take children! The rooms were clean and spacious and the full kitchen and washer and dryer were major money and time savers. We probably could have spent the entire vacation just at the resort, although it was so conveniently located to Lahaina, Kihei, and other great sites! Little ones especially enjoyed the garden pool with its very shallow water and waterfalls. Wonderful for young ones who aren't yet swimmers, and older ones who are but still enjoy relaxing.. The only negative with Kaanapali Shores was with the staff at the Beach Club restaurant. There's an older man working there who is just so unbelievably rude. We witnessed him snapping at customers more than once and were appalled. But otherwise the service and food were terrific. Loved how convenient it was to order takeout and bring it up to the room! Definitely recommend this place for families!

Message: I stayed at this resort for 4 days with my mom and my husband. We had plenty of space and loved the pools! We stayed in a penthouse room with an incredible ocean view! The staff and everything was awesome! The hotel is also within walking distance to some shops and delicious restaurants! I highly recommend!
