Message: This place was a perfect match for me in Hawaii. I wanted to reconnect to myself, recharge, meditate and find peace within myself. And I did in many ways, thanks to Akiko and her beautiful place. I will never forget my peaceful minimalistic room, the sounds of rain, birds and frogs, the peaceful neighbourhoods with the farmer's market, the nature in all manifestations - water, fire, earth and air. Now, after coming back from Hawaii to London, I am thinking of changing certain aspects of my lifestyle so that I can spend more time in nature. I would love to visit this place again and totally recommend you. in Short, Very good vibes, good value for money and amazing location. Aloha!

Message: Akiko hosted a mochi pounding event complete with vendors and other entertainment that tourists could participate and enjoy. We even got to try pounding mochi with those big mallets! That was so much fun!

Message: Serenity is the watch word at Akiko's. Relax amid old Hawaii with an eye on respect for the past and for the future of our planet. Simple, modest, healthy, and very clean with like-minded and gentle spirited guests. Breakfasts are ample, delicious and healthy. Opportunity to participate in Tzazen mediation with the owner is not to be missed!
